Bestes Maschinenhaus

VDMA awards the “Bestes Maschinenhaus” prize to mechanical and electrical engineering departments and faculties. The visual appearance of the prize – from the award itself to the certificate – is from Zentralmassiv.

DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

Sketches, drawings, vector illustrations, 3D renderings, construction drawings, 3D print, ironworks, surface finishing, engraving – many steps towards the final shape of the award.

MECHANICAL MEETS ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

A twisted ring made of two different metals visualizes the two award-winning departments: stainless steel, as an omnipresent, basic material, stands for mechanical engineering, and copper, as a conductive material, for electrical engineering.
